Just back from a really dope night at King Georg, one of the best places in cologne when it comes to semicozy bar slash miniclub business. Played everything from Folk to Old School House Music and whatnot, what brought the whole thing home once again was the goodie below though. Proper.

Just In! New Mixtape by our friends from Skip Intro holding it down in Amsterdam, lots of Dubstep + related great stuff with an emphasis on bass and general rattle pon di floor.  A PITY this kind of music does not really work in Cologne the way it does in other cities. Well, maybe in two years…

Yes Yes Jo. Ehrlich zugegeben, wenn es um Reggae und Artverwandtes geht hab ich wenig bis keine Ahnung. DJ Adirock dafür schon. Der Gute schreibt Monat für Monat in extrem charmanten Style die Single Reviews von Europas einzigem ernstzunehmenden, aus Köln kommenden Riddim Magazine und legt ebenjene besprochenen Tunes (gemischt mit allerlei älteren Sachen) dann auch noch auf. So wird`s gemacht.

Passend zu der momentanen Hitzewelle gibt es von ihm ein ziemlich sommertaugliches “Mixtape” – wem das Ganze gefällt dem empfehlen wir am kommenden Samstag einen Besuch im Stecken in der Maastrichter Straße, denn da legt der Gute auf. Auf die 1210`er kommt an diesem Abend nix als Ska, Rocksteady und Early Reggae. I like.
