Since Dip Some is off to Amsterdam I figured now would be a good time to start contributing here.First pick is maybe my favorite Feist track so far. This one is of a 10″, which was released previous to her last LP. Sets the mood nicely for some late summer evenings…

Feist – One Evening (10″ Version) (320K)

Turn It Loose! This one has literally never left my bag since I found this gem in some Londonian record shop 5 or 6 years back, so solid. Edit comes courtesy of Fantasista aka Toshio Matsuura who managed to lay down one of the few James Brown Remakes that actually do it for me. Track was also included on a couple of Compilations but this Vinylrip comes from the original, much better sounding Japanese 12″ Pressing. My copy is worn though. Anyways, here you go…

JB – Give It Up Or Turnit Loose (Fantasista Re-Formation) (320k)

Classic feelgood jam from 1971, just about right for a sunny sunday afternoon. I`ve been ripping  some old reggae lately so expect some more stuff in this style to pop up here anytime soon.

The Pioneers – Let Your Yeah Be Yeah (320k)

It`s been a beautiful day on the countryside and my mind is anywhere but at club music right now so we go out of line a little bit. Here`s one of the standout tracks from Jorge Ben`s classic “Forca Bruta” Album that has just been reissued on 4Men With Beards, way to go. If you are in need of a proper summer album on vinyl search no more, this is the real deal.
