Get Down

We know we are, eh, got. Loved this jam when it came out in like 2003 or something, back then every GAMM was worth checking out. Mats you still doing those btw?

So much soul… for some reason they don`t make them like this anymore. Plus the saxophon doesn`t annoy the hell out of me like usually, which always deserves a honorable mention.

How fitting for Christmas time… Paul Weller in top form, props for the extra gay video, too. Gotsto love it. Check how Club Silencio flipped this one – not half as balearic but still… Coming correct with a little more oomph.

This one has been a real staple in my sets when i still used to play out vinyl only, amazing production from no other than Sly & Robbie back from 1983. There`s a good Larry Levan Remix of this one too but i always preferred the original vocal. Classic Ish.

Since Dip Some is off to Amsterdam I figured now would be a good time to start contributing here.First pick is maybe my favorite Feist track so far. This one is of a 10″, which was released previous to her last LP. Sets the mood nicely for some late summer evenings…

Hallo. We are three fellows who happen to be interested and involved in a couple of different things, most importantly we run a monthly party and a weekly bar joint in our hometown Cologne where we play our favourite music and dance with all our friends from near and far. Awesome. You should come there.
We also spotlight whatever we see fit in our gallery and on our Blog, which are a fusion of content from our other Site "Ahjaa" (now defunct) and the previous 123 Rakete Website. Have a look around...
